Terms and Conditions 

Please read through the terms and conditions on our website thoroughly before enrolling. When enrolling as a student of Zen Head 1/247 Milne Rd, Modbury North, you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out on the Zen Head zenhead.com.au.  

When enrolling as a student you also agree to the terms and conditions of the Class Pass, Membership or Trial Offer you have selected at the time of booking.

While we endeavour to deliver all our classes on time and as advertised, classes are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Zen Head Meditation studio is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed, or cancelled for any reason. 

The door will be locked at the class starting time to protect everyone’s belongings. If you arrive after the door has been locked this will be considered a no-show and the class will not be refunded or credited back to you. If you are only running a few minutes late give us a call on 0422 516 397 and we will do our best to accommodate you, but we will only be able to do so in a way that keeps everyone’s belongings safe and does not disrupt the class for everyone else.

Teachers are subject to change without notice. 

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class as late entry is discouraged and cannot be guaranteed. For security reasons, the door to the studio is locked at the beginning of each class.  

Leaving class early without a medical reason is strongly discouraged. Please check in at reception before each class. Zen Head is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings. Zen Head has the right to refuse entry at any time. 

A minimum of 3 students per class is required for the class commence. Classes are subject to change and/or cancellation on short notice due to low attendance. 

Bookings are to be booked via our online booking system to secure your place prior to the start time of the class and class payment must be made upon booking. 

Studio Term and Conditions

  1. I (the student) understand that the class, workshop or service that I am participating in at Zen Head will involve instruction about Meditation, Yoga or Fitness.
  2. I have consulted a medical physician prior to the beginning of any class, workshop or service.
  3. I acknowledge that I AM IN GOOD HEALTH and in PROPER PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITION to participate in any class, workshop or service at Zen Head.
  4. I accept complete responsibility for my own physical, psychological, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being, and for the results of any classes provided by any instructor at Zen Head that may affect my health in any way.
  5. I recognize that the class, workshop or service I choose to participate in at Zen Head may require physical exertion which may be strenuous and could result in physical injury. I will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
  6. I take full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known and unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in any class, workshop or service at Zen Head.
  7. I recognize that it is my responsibility to notify the instructor at Zen Head of any illness or injury prior to every class, workshop or service that I attend.
  8. I understand that the use of AROMATHERAPY ESSENTIAL OILS may be used throughout a class, workshop or service.
  9. I understand that I may be in direct contact with various AROMATHERAPY ESSENTIAL OIL products throughout a class, workshop or service.
  10. I am aware of the specific AROMATHERAPY ESSENTIAL OILS of which I am allergic or have a sensitivity to and have notified the instructor of this allergy/sensitivity prior to every class, workshop or service.
  11. I release all instructors at Zen Head from liability for any allergic reactions or skin complications that may occur due to the use of AROMATHERAPY ESSENTIAL OIL’S.
  12. I understand that the class, workshop or service that I am attending is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment.
  13. I accept that neither the instructor, nor the hosting facility Zen Head is liable for any injury, or damages, to person or property, resulting from participating in the class, workshop or service.
  14. All information received from any instructor at Zen Head is accepted with full knowledge that any action taken by me as a result of the information received is my complete responsibility.
  15. I agree to the release of any photos that are published on social media or for the use of advertising.
  16. I acknowledge that no refund will be given for no show, failure to attend or cancellations 4r hours prior to the start time of your class.

  18. I understand due to CONVID-19 restrictions there are a limited number of space within studio. If you fail/forget to attend, or cancel your appointment 4 hours beforehand you will forfeit any payments or bookings that have been made.

Your Responsibilities

‘You/your’ is referred to as you the student attending any class, course or workshop at Zen Head Meditation studio.

The safety of your personal property while at our studio is your responsibility.

You must ensure your personal information is up-to-date on our records. Including any injuries, medical conditions, allergies etc., that may have a bearing on your class practice.

You are responsible for using our facilities and equipment properly and for returning any borrowed equipment after class.

You should seek expert medical advice prior to starting your class practice , and also if, at any time, you have doubts about your ability to practice the class safely please consult your medical professional prior to your attendance. The teacher, although well trained, is not a medical professional.

Do not attend the studio if you are unwell. Please consider the health of the teacher and other students who would be in the studio with you.

Our Responsibilities

Zen Head Meditation is responsible for providing you with the services you have purchased in a safe and professional manner.

We will protect your privacy in accordance with our privacy policy.

Liability Waiver

You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such a practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all mindfulness meditation and yoga exercises. 

Classes at Zen Head Meditation studio may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is a risk of personal injury, property loss, or death. 

You will follow all instructions given to you by Zen Head Meditation studio teachers and you acknowledge that any failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury. 

Zen Head is in no way liable for any injury, loss of property, or death resulting from attending our studio. 

Zen Head reserves the right to refuse access or entry to any person to its premises or to participate in any of its classes for any reasonable cause, including but not limited to, misconduct or intoxication or on medical grounds or failure to comply with these ‘Terms and Conditions’.  

By booking into a class you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions and have read and signed a waiver upon your first visit to acknowledge these terms and conditions.

Booking changes and cancellation policy 

Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure everyone has a chance to attend. Nobody likes additional charges, but everyday classes get fully booked, and sometimes students miss out. 

Class cancellations can be made via the Zen Head online booking system here

Zen Head does not offer refunds, suspensions, or extensions on first time introductory pass, casual visit pass, 5, 10, and 20 Class Pack class packs for forget/failure to attend, no show, cancellation, change of mind, injury, illness, change of address, or any other reason. All purchases are final. 

Class cancellations can be made up to 4 hours before the class start time without incurring a deduction from your class purchase, class pass pack or without incurring a fee. 

Students using a  first time introductory pass, casual visit pass, 5, 10, and 20 Class Pack who pre-book into a class but fail to attend or cancel the booking within 4 hours of the class start time, will forfeit their class and any payments that have been made. 

Cancellations will not be accepted via phone, email, or social media.  

Pricing 
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and all transactions are processed in Australian Dollars ($AUD). 

All prices are correct at the time of online publication. Prices are subject to change without notice. 

Prices may occasionally increase to reflect increases in studio costs. Class pack passes already purchased, will be honoured at the purchase price.

Unforeseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable. 

We reserve the right to amend prices and printing errors. 

Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and benefits. 

All purchases are final. Zen Head does not offer refunds, suspensions, or extensions on services, workshops, or products for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address, or any other reason. 

Workshops and Events
Zen Head does not offer refunds, suspensions, extensions or credits on workshops and events or for forget/failure to attend, no show, cancellation within 48 hours, change of mind, injury, illness, change of address, or any other reason. All purchases are final. 

Workshop cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the workshop start time without incurring a fee or forfeiting payments made. Any no-show or absence will result in forfeiting that visit. If you do not attend a booked workshop you will forfeit payments made. 

All workshop and event purchases are final. Refunds will not be given. Class credits can be given for cancellations made 48 hours before the start time of the workshop or event.

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your workshop ticket to another person’s name by calling Tamra from Zen Head 0422 516 397 at least 24 hours before the start of the workshop. 

Payment needs to be made upon booking. 

Please arrive at least 10 mins before the scheduled start time of the workshop. Late entry to workshops will not be permitted.

Zen Head Certificate Trainings and Courses
Zen Head does not offer refunds, suspensions, extensions or credits on
 Zen Head Certificate Trainings and Courses for forget/failure to attend, no show, cancellation within 7 days of the Certificate Training or Course commencement, change of mind, injury, illness, change of address, or any other reason. All purchases are final. 

Certificate Training or Course cancellations can be made up to 7 days before the start time without incurring a fee or forfeiting payments made. Any no-show or absence will result in forfeiting all moneys payable for the Certificate Training or Course. If you do not attend a booked Certificate Training or Course you will forfeit payments made. 

All Certificate Training or Course purchases are final. Refunds will not be given. Credits can be given for cancellations made 7 days before the start time of the Certificate Training or Course.
